How does it work?
Drop your images onto the bench or pick them with the file dialog; a single request takes up to 20 files.
Choose the output format: JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF.
Set the quality; if you chose JPG, pick the background color that transparent areas will be filled with.
Convert, then save the results individually or pull the whole set down in one ZIP archive.
Frequently asked questions
Is ImageConvert free?
Yes — free to use, no account required; upload, convert and save the results. Nothing is stamped onto your images.
Will the conversion lower the quality?
It depends on the format. Converting to JPG, WebP or AVIF applies lossy compression at the quality you choose; at the default 85 the difference is not visible on photos. Converting to PNG is lossless, so every pixel is kept exactly.
What happens to the transparent background?
PNG, WebP and AVIF keep transparency. JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a background color you choose; the default is white.
My iPhone photo will not open elsewhere. What do I do?
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many programs and sites do not accept yet. Upload the HEIC file here and convert it to JPG; it will open everywhere. The photo's orientation is corrected automatically.
Can I convert several images in one go?
Yes — a single request accepts up to 20 images. Save the results individually or grab the whole batch in one ZIP archive.
Does the tool change my original file?
No. The work happens on the uploaded copy; your download is a brand-new file and the source image on your device is never modified.
When do you need an image converter?
Every format has a job it does best. A photo from an iPhone arrives as HEIC and will not open on many devices; a logo exported as JPG loses its transparent background; a screenshot saved as PNG is heavier than your page needs. ImageConvert moves your image between formats without touching the framing or the pixels you chose: you upload the file, pick the output format and the quality, and download the result.
